A fine viola made in the style of Francois Hippolyte Caussin around 1880. 
 
This is a very well made viola built on the smaller scale but certainly not lacking in power, depth or volume. 
 
Ideal for a player who may from time to time dabble in violin as well as viola, or someone who finds a 16 inch viola a little uncomfortable. 
 
The length of the back is
