A lovely violin made in the workshops of Jerome Thibouville Lamy in Mirecourt circa 1890.

JTL were the most renowned French instrument workshop in the 19th and 20th Century and made a fantastic range of instruments, always of superb quality.

Their Medio-Fino range is the entry level model for violins, made from alpine spruce and plain maple, these violins are always popular and sound excellent, full of brightness, resonance and power, perfect for an aspiring student.

We always set our violins up to the highest possible standard and this violin is no exception.

It would make a great companion throughout a student's early career, up to grade 8 and beyond, where upon we would be happy to purchase this instrument back in the future against an upgrade.
