An incredibly fine and rare cello bow made for the Dodd family by Willam Tubbs showing the influence of James Tubbs.
This bow is in incredible condition, retaining the original mottled "birthday mother of pearl" slide, usually only seen on the bows James Tubbs mounted in chased gold.
Made from a beautiful, choice selection of pernambuco, this is a good strong bow suitable for a professional or collector in equal measure. In stunning condition and branded Dodd on the side of the stick.
